A real browser signs in , walks your pages and hands back an MP4 with a spoken voice-over, captions and a transcript . Every claim here cites the recording below.
Free and open source. Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. Also as an .msi installer.
01One take
The video, its captions and a list of every page visited all come from one recording. Nothing to sync, nothing to retype, nothing to cut.
H.264 + AAC. Captions are embedded in the MP4 and shipped as a file.

02Behind the login
Walkcast finds the sign-in form, including two-step email-then-password flows, signs in with what you give it, and walks the signed-in site.
Every recording asks you to say you own the site or may test it. No confirmation, no recording.
Traces, captions and files show a placeholder. The narration says a password was entered and never reads it out.
It never tries to get past a CAPTCHA, bot check or second-factor prompt. It stops and tells you.
No form submissions. Sign-out, delete, cancel and unsubscribe links are skipped.
03Narration
Lines are written from what the browser actually did: the page it opened, the field it typed into, what the site answered. Nothing is made up.
04The app
Follows links on the same site, page by page, and narrates each one.
MP4, WebM, captions, transcript and the narration audio.
H.264 video, AAC voice, captions on.
Install on Windows, sign in to the site you test, and press Record. Nothing to configure first.
Four built-in voices. No microphone, no retakes.
Held in memory for the run, then dropped.
Show new users around before their first login.
A narrated tour for sales calls, from one link.
Drop the video and its transcript into a support doc.
A recorded pass over the site, with every status.
Walk the client through the site you built, no call.
Record what changed after every deploy.
MIT licensed. No paid tier, no seat limit, no usage meter. Walkcast runs on your own machine, so your recordings and passwords stay there too.
For anyone who wants a video of their site today.
For teams who want to read, fork or self-host it.
